Early C16 house, timber framed and plastered, with red plain tile roof. Timber
gnome exposed on street front. 2 storeys, attics and cellars. L shaped plan with
C17 extensions at rear north end. Long wall jetty with moulded bressumer on curved
brackets. 3 window range double hung vertical sliding sashes, glazed in margins.
2 ground floor C19 bay windows. Two 6 panel doors. Early C16 red brick chimney
stack. Original window heads remain at first floor level, and doorway to room over
original porch. Internally part of the house is exposed. (RCHM 33).
