GV II
House, subdivided into 2 properties. Early C19, possibly encasing an earlier
structure, extended late C19. Beal House has colourwashed roughcast render
and slate roof. Cranbrook is of colourwashed brick with slate roof. 2
storeys. Irregular plan. Beal House: symmetrical facade. 2-light pointed-
arched casement windows with diamond lattice lights. Central 6-panel door
surmounted by pointed-arched fanlight with lattice work lights. Red brick
chimney stacks. Cranbrook: 2 semi-octagonal 2-storeyed bay windows
containing sashes. 6-panel door surmounted by semi-circular fanlight with
ornamental radiating glazing bars.
