GV II

Farmhouse. C16 with C19 block added to make double pile plan. Back wing: C16,
close-studded timber framing, old clay tile roof. Linked double diagonally-set red
brick ridge stack. C19 front block: red brick, C20 tile roof, red brick ridge stacks
at gable ends. 2 storeys. Symmetrical front elevation. Central front door has
semi-circular fanlight with radiating glazing bars and 6-panel door, top 2 pairs
fielded. Decorative cast iron porch on narrow fluted columns. 2 canted bays
flanking front door, with sashes and moulded cornice. First floor has 3 sashes with
glazing bars. Lean-to one storey extension to rear and plain conservatory to south
elevation.
