Headstone. 1770. In memory of Mary Worthevale, late of Worthevale (qv Worthevale
Manor, Forrebury and Minster Parish). Rectangular slate headstone with angel's head
and lettering of fine quality.
Verse; 'Kind Angels guard this bed of dust
Till Jesus comes to raise the just
Then may she make with sweet surprize
And in our Saviours image rise'.
