ST 66 NW COMPTON DANDO QUEEN CHARLTON

2/65 School Cottage

G.V. II

School house, now a private house. Circa 1840. Rubble with freestone
dressings and pantiled roof. Single storey and attics in dormer gables. Two
2-light casement windows in chamfered mullions and surrounds and under relieving
arches; decorative lattice pattern glazing. Projecting gabled porch with C20
door. The adjoining Village Hall (q.v.) is the former school room.
