BISHOPS TACHBROOK Banbury Road

House. Circa C17/18. Painted brick. Front range of C18 date. Hipped plain
tile roof. Two storeys, three bays. Two steps up to centrally placed door,
moulded wooden doorcase. Sash windows with plaster rusticated lintels and
cills. Lower C17 portion at right angles to rear. Steeply pitched plain tile
roof with gabled ends. Timber-framing in gable. Two storeys, two-window
range. At ground floor three segmental arched openings; cross mullion/transom
casements with leaded lights and six-panel door. At first floor mullioned
casements with leaded lights. Two brick chimney stacks.
