cart shed south-
west of farm building

GV II

Cartshed and storage room and wall attached; part of planned farm layout.
1851-2 by Joseph Hansom. Coursed squared sandstone with ashlar dressings;
Welsh slate roof with stone gable copings. One storey, 6 bays.

South elevation to road blank; small square chimney in mid-slope of roof.
Wall attached curves from east end of building to form entrance to farmyard
flanked by wall of pigsty (q.v.).

North elevation has boarded door and small window in first bay, with stop-
chamfered jambs and low-pointed heads; similar chamfers on piers of cart
entrances. Some entrances blocked.
