Entrance lodge. 1848. Red brick with grey diapering, stone dressings, plinth;
gabled cross wing to right with coped parapet, capstone and kneelers. Slate
roof and large stack to right with 4 shafts and oversailing caps, 2 to outside
set diagonally. L-plan. 1 1/2 storeys. West front: first floor 2-light mullioned
window in gable to right and ground floor canted bay below with battlemented
parapet. Doorway set back to left with 4-centered arch and hoodmould. One-light
window in right hand return wall. North front: ground floor 2-light mullioned
window, one light window in gable above with diamond panes. One storey addition
to south with 2-light mullioned window to west.
