Circa 1830-40 three storeys, painted brick, shallow house facing Clarence Road with shop on corner with St Leonard's Road. The house has parapet front with stone coping. Three windows, recessed glazing bar sashes, flat gauged arches. Door of six fielded panels, semi-circular fanlight with radial swag glazing. Single storey contemporary shop to corner, the end bay radiused - plate glass windows but retaining frame of Greek key panelled pilasters, reeded frieze and shallow cornice.

End of group formed by No 2 with Nos 2, 6 to 10 (even) and 10A Clarence Road.
