SP 91 NW IVINGHOE IVINGHOE ASTON

House, formerly 2. C17, altered C19. W. front has timber frame with old
brick infill, E. front rebuilt in red brick. Old tile roof, half-hipped to
south. 2 blocks in range, each of 2 bays with central brick chimney. 2
bays to left of E. front are of 1½ storeys and have wooden casements with
horizontal glazing bars, 4-light with segmental heads to ground floor,
2-light in gabled eaves-line dormers. Half-glazed door with segmental head
to right, blocked door to left. 2 bays to right have raised eaves and
2 storeys, with paired C20 wooden casements to ground floor and 3-light
casements above. Board door to right, blocked door to left. All
openings in right bays have cambered heads. Irregular barred wooden
casements to rear. Interior retains diagonal braces, main trusses
and stop-chamfered spine beams.
