SY 49 SE BOTHENHAMPTON DUCK STREET

2/20 Spring Farm Cottage

Detached Farmhouse. c.Early C17. Rubble stone walls with stone
quoins. Thatch roof with brick stacks at each gable. Short
projecting wing from left hand. 1½ storeys. 3 windows, 2- and
3-light wooden casements with lead lights. Pegged wooden frames and
wooden lintels. One dormer with gabled thatch roof, and one half-
dormer. Entrance at centre, narrowed by inserted brick jambs.
Wooden lintel over, with a slight chamfer. Plank door, with strap
hinges, C20.
