5/8 Whetley Farmhouse

II

Detached farmhouse. Late C17 with Cl9 re-modelling on south side.
Coursed rubble-stone walls on a chert rubble base. Slate roof with stone
gable-copings. C20 brick stacks at each gable. 2 storeys. 3 windows,
3-light stone mullions with hollow chamfers. Separate labels over.
Fixed glass lights. One iron casement and leads at right hand top.
Front door at centre, plank and framed, C20. Separate label over. C20
stone porch with a pentice slate roof over. South elevation has a
C19 re-facing of stone with Cl9 openings. Wooden casements. Cl9
dressed stone porch with pitched tile roof. Segmental entrance arch.
