Detached Farmhouse. Late C18. Coursed stone walls with ashlar quoins. Slate
roof with gable ends. Brick stack, rebuilt at ridge left of centre, and
rendered brick stack right of centre. Two storeys and dormers. 5 windows,
square stone mullions, beaded with stone architraves, of alternating two and
three lights. C20 metal casements with lead lights. Two dormers, gabled and
with iron casements, C19. Doorway at centre, with stone architrave. Plank
door, C19. Continuous outshut at rear, with catslide slate roof. 2- and 3-
light wood casements. Plank door left of centre, C19. Interior: former lobby
entrance, opened out. Left hand room has open fireplace, stone jamb, cambered
wood lintel with tongued stops. Ceiling beams with mid-chamfer and tongued
stops. Staircase-door, boxed in stair behind former lobby entrance. Secondary
stair position in right hand end room.
