Stable-Block, Coach House and Barn. C17, much rebuilt in C19. Stone panel
with the initials and date I, and M.C. 1681. Rubble-stone walls, rendered and
painted, tapering to a sharp corner to north. Slate roof. Two storeys.
5 windows, irregular fenestration, two 2-light stone mullions, one of square-
section with key, one hollow-chamfered with moulded frame, 2- and 3-light
casements over. Ground floor has a 2-leaf carriage entrance, right of centre,
and a C19 stable-door in a square bay, right of this. (RCHM. Dorset I, p.108(4))
