C18 origin altered C19. Elevation to The Square has rendered walls (refaced
Circa 1840 -Pevsner) and roof concealed behind parapet. Brick stacks.
Three storeys. Ground floor has projecting porch in classic style. Four segmental
headed double hung sash windows separated by projecting pilasters. Moulded
string course at first floor level. Above this, first and second floors divided
into 5 bays by full height pilasters. On each floor, 5 double hung sash windows
with classical surrounds, those to first floor having pedimented heads.
Elevation facing West Street has brick walls, and double hung sash windows on
ground, first and second floors. Large arched opening leading to rear courtyard
has a semi-circular arch, rendered, on rendered piers. Interior much altered.
