1767/22/10009 Farmhouse at Lane Farm

GV II

Farmhouse. Early C19 with earlier origins. Gault brick with plain tile roof and projecting end stacks. L plan with wing to rear right. 2 storeys: 3-window range of 12/12 unhorned sashes. Central doorcase has 6-panel door, the top panels glazed. The red brick stack to the rear of the rear wing is from an earlier house on the site. Single-storey extension on right side. INTERIOR. Stick baluster staircase. Forms a group with barn/cowhouse to north-west (qv).
