Former watermill, converted to house, C18. Brick walls with some burnt
headers. Tiled mansard roof, half hipped at right end. 2 storeys and
attic. Stable door in brick porch with slate gabled roof. Ground floor has
2 casements with glazing bars. First floor has 2 similar windows, and one
large fixed window with glazing bars. One dormer in attic. At right end,
the front wall projects slightly. At left end, a single storey addition,
with stable door and 2 casements with glazing bars. Mill race passes under
building. Hatches survive below ground floor, and one upper horizontal
wheel.
