GV II

Pair of cottages, C17 or earlier origin, much reworked C19. Brick faced
chalk cob, whitewashed. Thatched roof with brick stacks to ends of main
range. L-plan with projecting cross-wing left. One and a half storeys,
irregular fenestration. 2 and 3-light casements, mostly C19 with glazing
bars. The cross wing contains one single-light wrought-iron casement
with leaded-lights. Ground floor windows under segmental heads. Each
cottage has a plank door in a gabled porch.
