CRANBORNE
SU 01 NE BOVERIDGE

GV II

Cottage dated 1833 but reusing earlier materials. Flint and brick with slate
roofs. Brick stacks with moulded caps set diagonally along the ridge. L-plan
with one arm projecting forward. 2 storeys. Projecting wing has 2-light C19
casement with glazing bars to the ground floor and an oriel with horizontal
glazing bars and a tent-shaped roof above. The right bay is blank but there
is a plank door under a sloping porch in the re-entrant angle. Carved barge
boards.

Internal features (RCHM): C17 beam with ogee stop at one end reused.
