Detached house - formerly 2 cottages. Left section late C17 - early C18. Right
section probably late C18. Left section has rubble stone walls, stone slate roof,
brick stack at left end, stone stack at right end. One storey and attic. Ground
floor has one canted bay window with glazing bars and 2 casements with glazing bars
under segmental arches. Attic has 2 gabled dormers with casements with glazing bars.
One ground floor room has large open fireplace with timber lintol. Right section
has rubble stone walls, slate roof, stone stack rear of ridge. 2 storeys. Gabled
porch with stone slate roof and ledged door. Ground floor has one C20 casement
with glazing bars under segmental arch. First floor has 2 similar windows.
Garage doors at right end. (RCHM, Monument 54. Dorset. Vol.II).
