Detached cottage, part used as shop. Probably C18. Rubble stone
walls, thatched roof, one stone end stack. 2 storeys. Ground floor
has central C20 legged door, and 2 casement windows with glazing
bars, all under stone arches. First floor has 2 casement windows
with glazing bars. Lower, single-storey section on west - used as
shop - has stone slate roof. Part-glazed panelled door and window
with glazing bars.
RCHM Monument 10 (Dorset Vol II).
Under repair at time of survey (1984).
