York Cottage

Formerly two or three cottages. Probably C18. Roughcast walls, thatched roof,
brick stacks. One storey and attics. At right angles to High Street. Main south
elevation has part-glazed door. Ground floor has four casement windows with
glazing bars. Attic has two dormers with similar casements. End elevation to
street has one horizontally sliding sash window with glazing bars on each floor. On
north side is a lean-to extension under catslide roof.
Internally, the three ground floor rooms have large open fireplaces - one with bread
oven.
