4/19 Conduit house,20 metres
south-east of Baxter
Wood Farmhouse


Conduit house. Probably early C19 and surmounted by possibly medieval fragment
of a cross head. Squared, tooled-and-margined sandstone. About 1.0 metre high
cubic block, open on east side, has solid pyramidal stone roof and cross finial.
