Stile slab. Dated 1729. Large stone slab c. 1.7 m wide x 800 mm wide x 130 mm thick set between wooden posts c. 1.25 metres high. Slab on east side of road from Lower Etloe to Purton, opposite Byways (qv). This slab very similar to stile slab in Awre Road, Blakeney (qv).
