Farmworker's cottage and stable. Probably early C18. Sandstone rubble with
quoins and ashlar dressings. Roofs graduated stone flags with stone ridge; and
pantiles.

One-storey, 4-bays, the second 2 lower and narrower. Cottage at left has flat
stone lintel over boarded door at right; left bay obscured by vegetation; small
central square ridge chimney. Stable at right has flat stone lintels over
boarded door at left and empty window at right. Right part has steeply-pitched
roof rising to ridge continuous with that of left part. Left return gable peak
has small attic window. Rear elevation has 2 openings at eaves of cottage;
higher ground level.

Interior, partly inspected, shows pegged and halved collared tie-beam trusses
in second bay; wall dividing bays of cottage; sloping beams with hanging pegs
from door lintel to side walls of this bay.
