A Cl5 timber-framed and plastered hall house, originally with cross wings on the
north and south ends. The north cross wing has been demolished. There are C16
alterations and extensions to the south wing and C17 alterations to the main block.
There are also clfi and later alterations. 2 storeys, Casement windows with glazing
bars. Roof tiled, with a central chimney stack of Circa 16OO with attached diagonal
pilaster shafts. (RCHM 18).

Thorley's Farmhouse, Glenmore and Thorley's Cottage, Laburnum Cottage and Off Licence
Store, Rumymede Cottage, Runnyrede Foxes and Maltings form a group.
