A Cl6-C17 timber-framed and plastered home. 2 storeys and attics. 3
window range of 3-light, double-hung sashes with glazing here and 1 later
single window. There are 2 doorways with 6-panel doors, panelled pilasters
and cornices. Wings extent to the rear. Roof tiled, with a central chimney
stack with 4 detached square shafts on a square base. There are also
chimney stacks at the east and west ends, 1 with 3 octagonal shafts end
1 with 3 diagonal shafts. (RCHM 3 Buttsbury).
