A C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered house altered in the C19 and C20.
The south front was refronted in the C19 in yellow brick and has 2 large
C20 semi-circular 2 storeyed bays added. The north front is jettied on
the upper storey on a moulded bressumer. The ground storey has exposed
timber-framing with brick nogging and there are 2 original window openings
with moulded mullions (blocked). 2 storeys. The windows generally on
the south front are double-hung sashes with glazing bars in the upper
sashes Between the bays there is a C19 doorcase with a cornice on console
brackets. The north front has 3 window range, double-hung sashes with
glazing bars and square, stucco moulded hood moulds. The outer windows
are 3-light. At the west end a wing extends to the north with 1 window
range. (3-light). Roof tiled, with 5 gabled dormers on the south front.
