Parkgate Farm. Farm out-

GV II

Outbuildings. Late C18/early C19. Mainly timber framed and weatherboarded with
red brick and flint bases. Red Roman tiled roofs. Single storey with full
height barn. E plan,4 ranges with an attached range to left. The three forward
ranges gabled to road, left range an enclosed stable. Stable with double doors
to road, 3 louvres and stable door to right return. Central range, a 3 bay byre
and 1 bay enclosed stable. Straight braces to top plate. Right range, a 6 bay
byre. Hanging knees to tie beams. Rear range comprises a 3 bay cartlodge and a
7 bay threshing barn with hanging knees to tie beams, through bracing to walls
and high quality king post roof structure. To left rear is a 5 bay cartlodge of
matching materials with hanging knees to tie beams.
