House, c.1600, altered in C17 and C20. Timber framed, plastered, roof thatched.
3 bays aligned approx. NW-SE, aspect NE, with axial chimney stack between SE
and middle bays. Single-storey extensions to rear, C20. Single storey with
attics. C20 boarded door, 4 C20 casement windows, 2 more in swept dormers.
Roof half-hipped at SE end, hipped at NW end. Some framing exposed internally
Jowled posts. Original floor in SE bay, plain-chamfered axial beam with step
stops. In other bays, floors inserted in early C17, supported on pegged clamps.
In middle bay, axial beam and joists of horizontal section plain-chamfered
with lamb's tongue stops. Tiebeam to SE of middle bay removed, other internal
tiebeam present.
