A C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered house altered and added to in the
C18 and.C19 and renovated in the C20. Now part of Bridge Hospital. Wings
extend to the north-east and north-west. The north-west wing is of painted
brick. The north-east end south-dast fronts have double gables with shaped
Cl9 bargeboards. 2 storeys. The south-west front has 3:3 window range,
the south-east front has 3:1 and the north-east front has 3 window range,
double-hung sashes with glazing bars (some casements). The south-west
front has a 6 panel door with the upper panels glazed with pilasters and
a semi-circular headed fanlight (blocked). Roofs tiled with the re-built
base of a C16 chimney stack.
