Garden wall. Late C18/early C19. Red brick in Flemish bond. Extends from
Church Street (see item 9/73) approximately 95 metres south-easterly to the NW
corner of the Recreation Ground, with an obtuse angle 35 metres from Church
Street. 2.28 metres high at the Church Street end and plain, stepping down with
the gradient of the site. From the obtuse angle to the SE end there are 7
piers, and a double-chamfered plinth 0.84 metre above ground level. Originally
finished with a brick on edge coping, but raised 0.43 metre at a later date from
8 metres SE of the angle to the SE end, where it terminates at a square pier
without a cap.
