GV II

House. Mid-C19. Gault and red brick in Flemish bond, roofed with slate.
Single range facing NW with one gault stack in front of axis near right end, and
one internal red brick stack at left end. 2 storeys. 3-window range of
original or late C19 sashes of 4 lights. Off-centre 6-panel door in plain
doorcase with moulded flat canopy on scrolled brackets; 3 stone steps. Front
elevation and left return of gault brick, wholly covered by creeper at time of
survey, June 1987; rear elevation of red brick. Hipped roof of low pitch. The
owner reports that the deeds indicate construction in 1853 or 1856.
