House. Early Cl6 and early C17, altered in C20. Timber framed, roughcast
rendered, faced with red brick in Flemish bond on ground floor front, roofed
with handmade red plain tiles. 2 bays facing NW, with exposed jetty at right
end, extended to left by one bay in early C17, with stack behind ridge.
Catslide extension with gabled dormer behind left end, C20 parallel range behind
right end, and garage attached. C20 single-storey lean-to extension at left
end. 2 storeys. 3-window range of C19 small-paned casements and 2 C20 gabled
porches. 2 exposed brackets under jetty. Jowled posts, joists jointed with
soffit tenons with diminished haunches. Formerly with a crownpost roof, rafters
re-used. Carved jowls in the left bay. Formerly named Perces Cottage. RCHM
