Early C17 house with good red brick front of 1774. 2 storeys, attics
and cellars, timber-framed and plastered, the roofs tiled. The roof
behind the front has 2 pairs of small hipped gables. The west front
has a parapet, modillioned brick cornice, 5-window range of double
hung sashes, the central upper window blocked and with a shouldered
brick architrave; central doorcase with open pediment head and decorated
pilasters, semi-circular fanlight and panelled reveals, 6-panel door.

Nos 44 to 62 (even) form a grouyp with No 17 Sir Isaac's Walk
