House. Circa 1600. Probably timber framed, now brick cased and plastered with
central band and moulded eaves cornice. Red plain tiled roof hipped to right.
Off centre left and external rear right plastered brick chimney stacks. 2
storeys and attics. C20 single storey rear range. 4 hipped dormers. 4 window
range of C20 diamond leaded 3 light casements. Off centre right C18 6 panelled
door, moulded surround flat canopy, step approach, opposing vertically boarded
door to rear, moulded surround. Interior features include C18 fully panelled
room, simple C18 balustered staircase, a number of C18 2 panelled doors, C18 and
early C19 fireplaces. Original framed staggered side purlin roof. One of the 2
manors of Thundersley.
