House. C17, extended in C20. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade
red plain tiles. 2 bays aligned NW-SE, with C20 internal stack in NW bay.
large C20 extension to NE, forming a half-H plan. C20 flat-roofed single storey
extension to SE. One storey with attics. NW elevation, 2 C20 casements on
ground floor, and one on first floor, of original building. SW elevation, 2 C20
casements and 2 more in gabled dormers. Door in C20 extension. Heavy studding,
curved tension braces. Axial beams with plain joists of vertical section. Some
re-used timber in the NW bay. NE wallplate severed for access to C20 extension.
