TL 520 100 HIGH LAVER
5/4 Faggoters Farmhouse

House, C17, altered in C18 and C20. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with
handmade red clay tiles. 4 bays aligned approx. E-W with axial chimney stack in
second bay from E. Original single-storey rear wing from W end. Flat-roofed,
2-storey extension at E end, projecting to rear. Between this and other rear
wing, lean-to extension with catslide roof. 2 storeys. 6-panel door, top 4
panels glazed, in C20 flat-roofed porch. 5 double-hung sash windows of 16
lights on ground floor, 5 of 9 lights on first floor, early C19 or early C19
type. Roof hipped to W, half-hipped to E. Plain chamfered transverse and axial
beams with lamb's tongue stops in ground floor room to E of stack, boxed in
elsewhere. Some exposed framing in original rear wing, heavy studding.
