C16 and circa 1700. Roughcast, old slate roof, round chimneys, very low
proportions, 2 storeys. Wide low gable to right with 2 6-paned sashes
each floor, a long wing to left with 2 windows up and 4 down, irregularly
spaced. Roof continues over barn, shippons etc to left, and also at right
angles forward on left end, with arrow slits and a drying canopy over ground
floor. Interior said to have cupboard dated 1701.
