Dated 1692 I.M.D on rear gable. Little-washed and pebble-dashed over stone
rubble, with roof of old traded slates, and oval chimney. 2 storeys. L
plan, with a dwelling in each wing. Small-paned leaded casement windows
of 3, 4 and 5 lights with wood mullions and slate dripstones. Lean-to
porch on inner angle of L, on timber post, with balustraded balcony to
a first floor door above the ground floor door, and bee boles in wall beside
the porch. Staircase wing on outer angle of L. A third side of square
occupied by stone barn attached to farmhouse.
