SP 80 NW GREAT AND LITTLE KIMBLE KIMBLEWICK ROAD

House. Late C17, altered, possibly incorporating older building. 2 bays
to left of S.front are of rubble stone with C20 brick window surrounds;
gabled bay to right has flint ground floor and brick above; right side is of
brick with first floor band course; rear is of red brick in English bond with
moulded eaves. Old tile roofs, brick chimneys. Double pile, 2 storeys.
S.front: outer bays have barred sashes, double to ground floor; centre bay
has C20 3-light leaded casement to ground floor, old 4-light casement
to first floor, and C20 door in gabled porch to left. County fire insurance
plaque in right gable. Rear has irregular openings with barred
wooden casements and segmental heads. Interior: some timber framing inside
in central wall; large open fireplace to left of rear range with C17 thin
brick in stack; one C17 panelled door. Roofs renewed.
