6/1 Angles Theatre Workshop
GV II

Originally built as a library c.1840. Grey gault brick; hipped
slate roof. Two storeys with single storey wings projecting to
street, possibly later. Main symmetrical block has plaster,
Greek fret patterned giant pilasters. Modern porch masks
entrance with architraved moulded stone doorcase with double
doors. Deep boarded eaves. Five first floor, four-paned
windows with segmental brick arches and stone cills. Four,
sixteen=paned fixed-light ground floor windows in cambered,
gauged brick arches with stone cills. Two flanking wings with
gables to street, each with three-light windows with glazing
bars, segmental heads and stone cills. Internal side elevation
entrances and windows in recessed brick panels.
