2/62 The Cottage

II

Cottage, early C17, three unit plan. Plastered timber-frame and
painted brick. Thatched roof with two plain tiled gabled dormer
windows. One storey and attic. Three casement windows of
varying sizes with glazing bars. Half-glazed door in lobby
entry position. Brick ridge stack to right of centre. Interior
has stop-chamfered ceiling beams, and exposed tie beams; large
inglenook hearth with evidence of a baking oven, and staircase.
