Laithe-house. Barn bears inscribed tablet " 1 7 3 4 " . Watershot masonry,

stone slate roof. House had roof raised and windows to 1st floor altered mid
C19. 2-storey house to left of barn. 2 cells. Quoins. 2 bays of 3-light flat
faced mullioned windows with slightly recessed mullions. 1st floor has 2
3-light flat faced mullioned window with projecting sill (C19). Gable stacks.
Single-aisled barn at lower roof level. Square headed cart entry has composite
jambs and chamfered surround. Aisle breaks forward with quoined angles under
cat-slide roof with main range. Mistal door at lower level has quoined lintel.
Right hand return wall has owl hole to apex of gable. Rear has date stone over
cart entry and doorway with monolithic jambs to house which has 2-light windows
to each floor.
