Late C17 stone house, rendered and with ashlar dressings. Slate hipped roof.
Square on plan. Two storeys. Symmetrical, 4 bays, 2 and 3-light stone mullion/
transom windows in moulded stone frames, outer windows 2-lights, inner windows
3-lights. Stone long-and-short quoins, eaves and string course. Central stone
doorcase with rectangular fanlight and cornice on console brackets. Side elevations
3 bays. Two large ashlar stacks with cornices.
Lower 2 storey wing at rear (west) with stone mullioned windows and stone door
surround with moulded panel above. Interior is largely early C19. There is
a medieval octagonal stone pier in the cellar (probably from earlier building
on the site) supporting stopped chamfer ceiling beam.
