Probably C17. Stone rubble house with large quoins. Steeply pitched wood shingle
roof with gabled ends. Stone end chimney stacks with brick tops and brick ridge
stack off centre. Two storeys. Three window range. Three-light casements
and modern central door. One buttress on front wall
Circa C18 wing to right at right angles forming L-shaped plan; with lower pantile
roof, two storeys, two windows, casements. RCHM(2) page 63.
