Cottage. Late C17 with later additions. Timber-framed and plastered
thatched roof, painted brick ridge stack to left of centre. Brick
foundations. One storey and attic, three unit plan, with slated rear
outshut. Two first floor windows with glazing bars, (ground floor and
entrance masked by C20 lean-to), main entrance to left hand. Interior:
Stop-chamfered ceiling beams, exposed timber-frame, back to back open hearths
with steeply cambered mantel beams; kitchen hearth with baking oven recess
and two shaped niches. Semi cellar in rear outshut recently boarded over.
