Farmhouse, now house. Early C17, possibly incorporating earlier building, with
C19 and C20 alterations. Rubble, rendered, rear whitewashed, double Roman tiled
roof with stone ridge and gable stacks. Former through passage plan, now open
inside. 2 storeys and 4 windows, first floor all C20 2-light casements, ground
floor 3 C20 2-light casements and one 4-light, 3rd bay from left has C20 gabled
and glazed porch (to left of ridge stack) with single storey wing attached to
front right with 3-light casement and very small single light, possible former
dairy. Right return has gable end of wing with C20 door and 9-pane light above,
small 2-pane light to right, rear of wing has 2 buttresses and C20 2-light
casement. Left return has large weathered external stack with 8-pane light at
ground floor left and 6-pane light above. Rear has single storey addition to
left with C20 3-light casement, open sheltered area on wooden piers, glazed
lean-to along ground floor, to left a 4-light casement with ovolo mullions, wall
built out below stack, possibly for former oven, rear passage door has heavy
4-centred arched frame, chamfered, and C19 2-light casement to right, attached to
right a small lean-to with 2-light casement; 3 C20 2-light raking dormers.
Interior: not accessible, ridge stack retains large fireplace at ground floor,
may have other features of interest.
