9/69 Grange Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Early C17 with C18 and C19 alterations. Colourwashed render with
wooden lintels and C20 double Roman tile roof. 2 storeys and attics, 5-bay south
front. Windows to left-hand section are 3 and 4-light C19 casements with small
leaded panes. 12-pane sashes to right-hand. All windows have hoodmoulds and
chamfered wooden lintels except sashes which are in flush frames. 3 hipped
dormers with 3-light casements. 2 gabled porches to moulded Tudor-arched
doorways with studded plank and batten doors. 3 rendered ridge stacks. Return
front to east has a 3-light C17 ovolo-moulded mullion. Interior. Tudor-arched
fireplace to ground floor right-hand room; early C17 staircase with turned
balusters.
