Probable farmhouse, now 2 houses. Probably C17 or early C18.
Rubble, mostly rendered at the front, otherwise painted;
hipped roof: left-hand part of roof is scantle slate with some
C17 crested clay ridge tiles, otherwise dry slate; 2 large
gabled lateral stacks at rear. Probably originally a 3-room
and through or cross-passage plan plus later lean-to at rear
left.
2 storeys; overall 6-window range with irregularly disposed
openings. Late C19 horned sashes to left, otherwise C20
windows. Glazed and panelled door to left-hand part; C20 door
within C20 conservatory on the right.
INTERIOR: of left-hand part has slate flags to hall, early C19
window panelled shutters, an arched doorway with fluted
pilasters, cupboards with moulded frames and 2 fireplaces to
rear wall. Partial inspection only.
